Just look at Boodie — she’s a mess again! With the weather changes, her fur gets tangled and clumpy pretty often. So my human took her into the enclosed patio for a grooming session. With my combs. I’m beginning to think she needs her own.
It actually didn’t take all that long for my human to whip her fur back into shape. But it did result in a big pile of fluff.
Boodie’s fur is kind of icky! I think she is due for another bath, and my human agrees.
Actually, Boodie is a little stiff these days, so it is harder for her to groom herself. So my human does it for her sometimes. And she is going to get a nice present that may help her feel better!
Recently I won a giveaway on The Conscious Cat for an Assisi Loop. I think most of you already know what it is, but basically, an Assisi Loop is a pain management device that works through microcurrent electricity. I don’t need it, of course, because I’m a young, healthy cat. But Binga and Boodie are both old and, well, a little creaky! My human couldn’t decide which of them needed it the most (she needs to get it from our vet via prescription), so she asked her boyfriend for his thoughts. He immediately said Boodie needed it worst. He mentioned that she really hobbles around in the morning when she gets up. My human didn’t know that because Boodie gets up before she does. So she gets to try it out.
For chronic conditions like osteoarthritis (which is probably what Boodie has), it takes a few weeks for the Assisi Loop to show measuable results. So once it arrives, you may not hear about it for a while. But we are all hoping it works for her! And if it does, my human may get one for Binga too.
Aw, Boodie is a beautiful kitty.
Boodie is well taken care of and loved, you have a good Mom.
Your mom takes such good care of you guys!
Wow your human really was able to look well groomed. Your human takes good care of all of you.
I hope the Assisi Loop helps. Poor Boodie, my Snowball had the same problem and was due for grooming. Thank you for the kind words you left on my loss of Snowball. XO
It’s so hard to hobble around as one gets older and creakier. How neat that Boodie will soon have something that will hopefully help. And then Binga too.
Boodie is such a pretty girl! Hope it works for her…I could use one, too! Do they make them for humans?
Before and after Boodie sure let us know she was ready fur that fur removal session!
We hope she will get some good relief from that new device.
Wow, that was a lot of fur that came off of Boodie. She looks mah-ve-lous!
We sure hope the Assisi Loop helps manage her pain and creakiness.
Oh yay! That’s a great prize to win. We hope it helps Boodie a lot.
A thorough combing sure did make Boodie’s furs look nice. I hope the loop helps with her pain control.
I know you’ll keep us informed as to the progress the loop makes with Boodie. TW says I move in bed a litter gingerly but I don’t think so.
There’s enough fur there for another Boodie! We hope the Assisi Loop helps her. The mom has been thinking of getting one for one of us…probably Wally since he’s the oldest.
#1 says she could do with that Assisi Loop herself as she is pretty creaky when she gets up in the morning! All paws crossed that it really helps Boodie!
Purrs,
The Chans
Wow, Boodie sheds too much. Glad that she’s back to her good self again.
Boodie, you are back to your beautiful self after your spa day! Keeping our paws crossed the Assisi Loop give you some relief.
So much furr! I haven’t even seen that much in my life!!
I hope the Assisi Loop does work for Boodie! I had never heard of it before the Conscious Cat giveaway and was very intrigued when I read about what it did.
Oh Boodie darling. I am so glad your human helped you out. You look like a million. And I am delighted to hear about the help coming for you and hopefully Binga if it works well. I don’t know what it is. Mom will have to google for me.
That was a lot of fur, getting older and stiff and not being able to move to properly groom oneself would suck
We never heard of the Assisi Loop. We hope it works for Boodie, we’re looking forward to know more about it. Purrs
I have heard some great things about the Assisi Loop. I hope that it helps with the creaks. ♥
Boodie is a real beauty! It still boggles my mind that she eats Binga’s food. It seems like Miss Binga wouldn’t let anycat encroach on her territory. I’ve been meaning to send your Mom a note … I’ll get to it eventually, I swear!
I hope that thingie really works and Boodie (dear heart that she is) gets some relief…
OH MY STARS Boodie lost lots of fur but I bet she feels a ton ligher
Hugs madi your bfff
Kate had jewelry made out of cat fur in the Cat Style Lounge. Mom thought that was kind of icky, so didn’t check it out. That’s a lot of Boodie fur, however, and there may be a market for it! Mom says that she’s never heard of the Assisi Loop. She checked out the web site. Very interesting. She watched the video with L’il Bub and it sure made a difference. We wish Boodie good luck with it. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
hope Boodie feels better!
Wow, what a difference!
Not familiar with the Assisi Loop but if it works – WOW – I think Sammy would have loved that as he was quite achey in his last year or two. Hope it helps Boodie and for sure she looks amazing after her grooming session – she’s a beautiful girl.
Hugs, Teddy
that is a kitten sized pile of fuzz. we hope the loop helps Boodie (and Binga)
Boodie IS a Pretty Cat!!
A Pretty Cat is a Pretty Cat!!
That’s one big fur pile. We hope Boodie gets better with the Loop. Here, it’s Toby with the stiffness. Not so much since we moved to Florida.
It had to feel great after getting that yucky fur out!
She’s a beauty under all those tangles. We hope the Assisi Loop helps and can’t wait to hear more about how it works and how she might react.
Lil Bub says the Assisi Loop has been very instrumental in helping her, so I know it will help Boodie. Please keep us informed as to how it goes!
wow that’s quite the pile of furs. is there any left on boodie?
Mom had looked into the Assisi Loop too but never got, Grandpaw Greyson didn’t make it so we didn’t get one. It sounds like an ideal product to try, please keep us updated on Boodie’s progress. We are so glad you kitties won it. Boodie sure looks lighter and brighter with less fur. MOL. Beautiful job! Good luck Boodie! Purrs
Oh, I hope that works for Boodie. She sure looks better after her grooming.
Paws crossed that the Assisi Loop helps Boodie. We’re very interested to hear about the results. Pierre is starting to show early signs of arthritis, and the head peep has been wondering about the options other than cold laser therapy. Assisi Loop sounds promising!
We hope Boodie finds relief soon! She is sooooo beautiful!
That is quite a pile of fur!
Boodie does look much better.
Out JJ has a hard time grooming too.
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Boodie is so pretty. I hope she finds some relief for her stiffness. My lady needs something cuz she complains about her knees. She always knows when a storm is coming!
