We had some sun in the late afternoon, so my human and her camera took advantage and we went out front. The light was really contrasty from this angle, so she used it for some dramatic portraits.
Here’s a profile shot using the same light.
But you can do lots more with bright light at an angle. My human turned us the other way around to give me lots of backlighting.
Once she positioned herself to avoid the glare, we did some photos.

This time of year – and the opposite, in the coming Spring, the angle of the light hit the grass and trees in such a way that you can almost feel the seasons about to turn.
