Back in 2014, when I first came home, my breeder said half-jokingly that I was so easy-going, my human could probably put a dress on me. And wouldn’t you know it, my human had some hand-me-down outfits from Sparkle. So she tried them on me, and I didn’t mind them at all! (As opposed to Sparkle, who loathed dressing up and only had to do it rarely.) So I thought I would share some of my first costumes with you. My very first outfit was this pirate’s dress. Sparkle wanted nothing to do with it, but I wore it like it was made especially for me.
Wearing it did not stop me from playing and having a good time. I barely knew I was wearing anything.
But of course, since the costume wasn’t made especially for me, it had a habit of going askew. I grew into this costume and still wear it sometimes… but the hat is sill a little big on me.
But onto other costumes. This skeleton getup was another hand-me-down from Sparkle. She hated it. I was perfectly fine with it.
My human was still figuring out what size I was, which is why this butterfly shirt was a bit small on me. I think it was for a teacup poodle or something. But I still wore it like it was no big deal.
I was even able to put on a mean face for this devil harness. It was my first hoodie outfit, and sent by a media group that wanted a review. Actually, they wound up sending two because the first one was too big. Like I said, my human was still figuring out what my size was. Guess who got to wear the bigger one?
That’s right! And I got thanked by a firm application of her whapping paw.
