Are you on Instagram — and if you are, are you following me there? Sometimes I share photos there that you don’t see here. There are various reasons for these photos being Instagram-only, and I’ll explain with each photo below. Usually, it boils down to not having enough photos or a story for a whole blog post.
One afternoon my human took some photos of me sitting by the shutters in the master bathroom. It was near where her boyfriend hangs his scarves (he probably has a dozen or so!), so she put one on me. A couple of the pictures came out nice, but there was nothing to hang a blog post on, so she put one of them on Instagram. It’s actually different from the one above.
We got this Drinkwell 360 Stainless Steel Pet Fountain from Chewy, and I wrote about it on Instagram. I usually do my Chewy reviews there, since I have a good Instagram following (I’ve already surpassed my Twitter followers!). And unless I work it out with a sponsor, I don’t do more than one platform. If you want to see the whole post you can go here.
There’s a story behind this hotel room photo. My human and I were going to spend the weekend at a nearby hotel for her birthday a couple of weeks ago. I was going to write a whole blog post about it. But everything went wrong from the start, and we wound up leaving first thing in the morning and going home. It wound up being one of my human’s crappier birthdays, and the only photos that came out of our short time in the hotel were of me on the microwave. So I posted one on Instagram and left it at that.
This photo was from a fun time my human and I had earlier this week! We had a visit from the humans who run the Animal Shelter Volunteer Life blog! They came all the way out here for vacation and wanted to see me and my human. So they picked us up and we went over to Occidental College (Meowmeowmans is an alumnus), and hung out there. My human took photos, but they are all of me just sitting in a chair or on the table, so there wasn’t much to make into a blog post. So, once again, I shared it on Instagram.
And here is the bonus photo of Binga on the cat tree. My human took a few photos of her up there, but they all came out kind of lousy. This one was the best of the bunch.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I do on Instagram! If you want to follow me, I’m @summerstravels. I’m about to hit 10,000 followers, and I will be doing something special to celebrate.
