Helping My Human Build a Kitchen Cart

February 7, 2022 By: Summer Samba18 Comments

In this blog, Summer helps her human build a kitchen cart. How much help, exactly, she is, is debatable.

You’ll have to excuse the poor quality of these photos, but they were all taken at night with my human’s ancient iPhone. And they are the only record of all the work I put in helping my human assemble this kitchen cart. I know, I know, I couldn’t tell what it was supposed to be when I saw this jumble of pieces either.

My human has always wanted a kitchen with an island. But since we don’t have one here, and not quite enough room for one, she settled for a kitchen cart. She was not deterred from picking one that needed assembly. If you look at the links below, you’ll see she has had a lot of experience at building things. Plus, as always, I was there to help her and to supervise.

It actually didn’t take us too long to make some progress!

It was up to me to make sure she carefully followed all the directions!

I will admit, we had to call in her boyfriend to help with the last part. It was a little too heavy for my human to set it upright on her own. He didn’t require that much supervision because my human and I had already done the most complicated stuff.

Now the only problem for my human is figuring out what to store there! She admittedly has too much kitchen stuff… but the problem is she actually uses all her machines and gadgets at some point! But I’ll let her figure that on her own.

That is a good looking cart and I admire your human and you for getting it together, Mom gave up stat stuff, assembling some time ago. Too frustrating when thing go wrong and they generally do.
