Happy birthday to me! I’m seven this year — can you believe it? Where has all the time gone? Because of the pandemic, I didn’t get to go anywhere special. And because of the bear, I didn’t even get to go outside. I just had a quiet birthday celebration in the turret. I don’t know where my human dug up this birthday hat, but it didn’t fit very well. Fortunately I only had to wear it for a couple of minutes.
I got a birthday card from the therapy organization I belong to. And my human put together this cat food cake for me. Unfortunately, she also found the numbered candles, so she topped it with one. I did not appreciate this. After all, I am at the age where I get to start lying about how old I am.
I really, really wanted to touch that cake! But I was (sort of) very good about not digging in right away.
Once my human got the photos, I didn’t waste any time, though!
I did get a small birthday gift — this cool, colorful necklace.
Here is a closer shot of it. I can’t wait to pair it up with some dresses.
For a quiet birthday, it was pretty nice! I hope next year will be more exciting!
