If I look a little bleary eyed here, it’s because my human and I were up at 4:15 A.M. to make it down to the fairgrounds where the Pet Expo is happening this weekend. My human didn’t mind having to get up so early, because it meant she missed most of the rush hour traffic. We had to be there early for the KTLA Morning News.
The news segment turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. I only got seen in the background. Blink and you missed me! They cancelled Telemundo for Friday, which my human is not sorry for because we would have had to be there at 5 A.M.! Fox11 is at the far more reasonable time of 9 A.M.
This was the real news of the day, however:
Moshow, the Cat Rapper, is in town to perform at the Expo, and he took me for a walk — and posted the video on his Instagram feed!
I love walking on my leash, and once the news segment was over and my area for the Expo got set up, I wanted to wander.
So I did!
I almost blend into this Catit display, don’t I?
Catit had a whole huge area that was partly set up so I had fun exploring all their furniture! And nobody was around yet so they were none the wiser.
The Sturdy booth wasn’t as much fun, since most of their things were still packed in boxes.
By then it was only 9:30 and still too early to check into the hotel. So my human and I tried to kill some time in the car. I just curled up in the middle of my stuff. My human tried unsuccessfully to take a nap.
Around lunchtime we were able to get in. So I have more than enough time to recharge for this long weekend!
What fun Summer, I used to show my extraordinary kitty Citlin in the household category. One time she got the Morris award as top kitty. A sweet real beauty. It was great fun. You’ll be back getting out soon. Some things are opening like salons and bowling alleys and golf courses. Hang in there
