Well, that gardener finally got around to replacing the nip plant he so carelessly ripped out by the roots and destroyed. But you won’t believe how he did it: he showed up with a bedraggled little nip plant that had probably been languishing in the back of some dusty, run-down excuse for a pet store.
How pathetic is that? My human has her work cut out ahead of her, and considering how good she is with plants, I am not holding out much hope.
oh oh, time to let your toes do the walking and place an order with an online nip shop!
Oh dear, Sparkle. On the plus side, at least the gardener knows the nip is there and won’t kill it again!
At least the gardener knows it’s there now since he planted it so he won’t be pulling it out. Hopefully it grows really big really fast!
It is small, but looks healthy. We’ll send purrs and pawsitive thoughts to your nip, so mebbe it will grow. xoxo
Oh my. Well, if it is any consolation, nip is a mint plant and should grow like crazy…if now silly bean digs it up that is.
mommy would dump my “dead” potted nip plants from a garden store along the house with the soil to fill the foundation, and now it is everywhere in the yard. mmmm nip
i’ll cross my paws yours does as well!
That looks like my pathetic nip plant that we have on the window sill but it’s lasted a year.
Welllll, it *IS* kind of puny–but I think there’s hope! Maybe the gardener will take care of it instead of your mom?
Well, maybe the catnip plant starts out like a Charlie Brown tree–and ya know what the tree looked like after…. 🙂 Hang in there. Purr for your human, she may need a little confidence…

Sparkle… I love you!
Keep your paws crossed and it may grow into a big healthy plant for next year sparkle.
Fresh nip Sparkle!
Wow I wish we had some.

you know what? it looks pretty darned good to me. My Mom killed mine.
Nip grows fast! Don’t despair, Sparkle.
Isn’t there some saying about big oaks growing from little acorns?
We are sending growing purrs to you (very little) nip plant. It does look pretty healthy, just small. Hope your human has some dried nip to tide you over until it grows up.
You look so sad waiting for your nip to grow. Hope it grows real fast for you to use, I don’t like seeing you so down.
That *is* a pretty little catnip plant, Sparkle. But we think it’ll grow if you give it a little time. 🙂
I will send lots of purrs for your little nip plant. AAB killed mine earlier this year, but at least I got a few good noms from it before she offed it.
We think that nip plant is very cute and soon will provide all three of you some good times. Glad the human put up a sign explaining what the plant is now. Too funny. We are sending tons of purrs that this catnip makes it and doesn’t have to RIP. Take care.
Dear Sparkle,
Our plant was pretty sad looking when we’s got it, but it took off. Then Kozmo and Cinnamon wrestled it into the ground. Now it has come back! Once they get get going they are hard to kill!
Kisses
Nellie
Yeah but a little nip is better than none…
Patience, Sparkle, patience. All good things grow in time
Well…small and bedraggled is better than no nip at all!
At least the gardener won’t rip this one up, though, Sparkle!
There is always hope when catnip is involved Sparkle!
We don’t think you will be having a big nip pawty very soon Sparkle – may be you can have one next year.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I think catnip is a “seasonal” plant like herbs etc. Mom and Dad waited till after my human sister’s wedding to go to the garden store and buy parsley, oregano and catnip plants (they were all out of basil) and the plants were all looking pretty sorry. They perked up a lot with home care, though, and flourished. Maybe your will do well now that it is heading into fall, not the hottest part of summer. Just tell her she DOES have to water it!
Well, it is rather small, Sparkle. But it’s green…that’s a plus!! And we hear nip grows really fast and easy, so maybe your human won’t kill it.
We’ve given up on nip. It’s beyond my mum’s ability.
your mom must have a brown thumb like M.
I’m sure it will work this time, I just have to do paw crossed no one pull it out and then it will grow and fill your garden bed !
Purrs !!!!
Don’t worry Sparkle. I’ll send you some nip if that doesn’t work.
pawhugs, max
