There is a reason that my human Furminated Boodie and not me for this month’s contest: She never gets a whole lot of fur out of me. Although I have some fluff, I don’t sport the full-on huge fluffiness that Boodie has. So I don’t leave a giant hairball in the middle of the floor. (At least not via the Furminator, if you catch my drift.)
That said, The Furminator will remove more loose fur from my coat than anything else my human has tried.
Still, this is an embarrassingly small pile, compared to what Boodie left. This bums me out because I want to be the best at everything!
But even if I only can make a small pile of fur, I still love my Furminator!
You still have time to enter my Furminator contest! Visit the original post and guess the size of Boodie’s Furminated fur pile. You must leave a comment with your guess at the original post — that is the only place your guess will count! I will be accepting guesses until April 29, 11:59 PM Pacific Time, at which time comments will be closed. I will announce the winner on Friday, April 30. Good luck!
Hi,
I’ve a question, I want to buy a furminator.
I have 2 somali’s but I don’t know if I should buy the one for long hair or short hair.
can you help me, which one do you have? tnx
I think it depends – I have a shorter, sleeker coat, with just fluffy pantaloons and a medium ruff, so I can use the short hair one. But some Somalis are very fluffy, and they should probably use the longer haired version. In any case, I was told to NEVER let my human brush my tail, as there is no undercoat there and it will pull out fur that won’t grow back – use a regular brush or comb for their tails.
It,s o.k. Sparkle! Your fluf is still owsome even tho Boodie’s is flufer! Your fluf is oranger tho!you’ve got that on your side! And plus your much famouser!;)
Hi!
We’re new around…we are 1/2-n-1/2 on love/hate the furminator. The zoom groom’s another story. We LOVE the zoom groom!

Sparkle, maybe your pile of fur wasn’t as large as Boodie’s, but it sure is a magnificent colour! It just make me wonder what could be made from that. I’ve seen one lady online, who actually spins the cat fur into cat wool, and makes purses from it!
That’s a lot of floof. I wonder how big the pile would be if mom ever used the Furminator on me!
That’s still a lot of floof there, Sparkle! Hard to believe there’s anything left on you!
We think that’s a pretty big pile of floof Sparkle! We don’t stick around long enough to get a big pile of floof out of us so we’re very impressed!
I agree with everyone else. That pile is still impressive. I had a dog that could have used one of these. All that dog ever did was shed all over everything, and be scared of its own shadow..
Well, even if it’s a small pile, it’s a beautiful color!
We think your furs are so special that you will only let a few at a time loose! We love the furminator…you should see what Mom gets out of Tamir!

Hmmm – such pretty colored fur – can we make something out of it? Maybe another cat?
Oh, my GOSH! I had to go look at the original post, and I can’t even be-LEEVE how much fur both you and Boodie yielded! It looks like enough to make several sweaters!
I think my Gus would like a Furminator, even tho he’s short-haired. Prudence would probably try to eat it.
That looks like a lot of hair to us. But there are only two of us here that really have long hair and one of those probably wouldn’t let the Mom use it on her. So that is a good pile of hair out of you Sparkle. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Hmm.. we think it’s quite a respectable floof pile, Sparkle.
Dat is a good pile of floof dere Sparkle! My furs are da same ways, momma gets way more off of my sisfur and brofur den me. But I don’t likes da FURminator dat much, me likes to has my furs left alone hehehe
Purrrrrrrrrrrrs
Wow, Sparkle! That’s still a furry impressive pile of floof!
