After yesterday’s Valentine photo session, my human pulled out these sparkly pink hearts she picked up the other day. She was shopping for cake pop sticks and came home with these too. She had no idea what to do with them, so she stuck them in this corrugated cardboard scratcher from a long-discarded toy. Then she expected me to pose with them, so of course I obliged.
Of course that didn’t mean I was going to pose perfectly! First I had to check them out.
I did pose nicely for a brief moment, but then things kind of went south because I was having too much fun.
Yes, I started messing around with the hearts.
My human actually didn’t want me touching them (in spite of my touch training). But I did anyway.
She kept trying to get me to put my paw down. But to be honest, I was having too much fun.
Then when I got bored, I decided the photo session was over. I probably haven’t seen the last of these sparkly pink hearts!

You’re so cute just being a kitty, doing kitty things❤❤
So pretty <3
I think you were pretending those hearts were of those whom you love, so of course you have to put your paw on them to communicate your love!
What’s wrong with you having fun? That next to last pic with the bottom cropped would be a cute card or something. You look mad in the last shot.
Haha! Those hearts DO look super fun, Summer. 🙂
You make sure a wonderful Valentine sweet Summer!
Those hearts are really cute and your human got some great shots!
What terrific shots Summer! I, Marv, purrticularly love the one with your paw on the hearts! You look fetching!
I love the photo with your paw on the heart.
We love the one with your paw over the heart, Summer!

They are very pretty. The time just wasn’t right for
you on these….another time.
I think these are all calendar worthy. 🙂
I agree.
We think you deserve to have fun with those hearts.
You do. . Tell your Human to just go find something else to do…
They did look like they’d be fun to play with, Summer.
Ahh, sometimes a girl’s gotta throw training out the window, says I. Those hearts sure are pretty and sparkly, but I think having some fun with them and, umm, aggravating your human is more enjoyable.
That is a lovely photo where you briefly posed nicely next to them.
Sometimes you are the model cat and sometimes you are just a cat 😉
I think it would be hard not to play with those hearts !
It would be cool if they went “boing” too ! MOL!!!!
