That’s right! Thanks to all you great kitties (and humans) who voted for me, I am one of the four finalists for Best Cat Blog! This is a great honor. I was not expecting to get to the finals because there are quite a few great cat blogs out there. In fact, I voted for a few of them myself! The only downside is that I am in competition with a couple of blogs that I visit often — I like these bloggers a whole bunch! I think all of us deserve to win. But I do want to add that out of all the blogs up for Best Cat Blog, mine is the only one that is completely, 100% cat run — no humans!
I also want to say that I’m really excited about the Best Cause Related Blog category, because two of my good pals are finalists: Gracie and her blog, The Tiniest Tiger’s Conservation Cub Club, and Robin Olson’s Covered in Cat Hair blog. You have heard a lot from me about Robin. She is a great friend to kitties. She is the one who first got the word out about Arizona (now known as Freya), and one of the main people responsible for Bobbi’s rescue. With her newly-formed rescue, Kitten Associates, I’m sure we’ll be reading lots more great blog posts of cats being saved!
You only have a short time to vote — the last day is August 20! The winner will be announced at the BlogPaws West conference on September 11. My human will be at the awards show (she was planning to go to BlogPaws anyhow, so this just makes it extra-special!).
So don’t delay — go to the Petties page and vote for me now! And once again, thanks for getting me to the finals!
