The painters are finally done! They were here for over three weeks. So it’s time for my final inspection. My human already looked at everything and paid them — I hope she hasn’t wasted her money!
If you recall my last inspection, all this was really far from being done! But here are the shutters, along with the front door above, looking amazing.
Yes, this side is looking good too!
One of the last things they did was put the iron decor back on the garage door.
Here’s the view of the side of the house, so you can see how fresh and clean it all looks.
My birdie watching spot looks so nice!
You can’t see, but they even painted the underside of the bridge!
They even refinished the double doors where I catch my rays in the morning! Although I did not like that I had to be locked up in the bedroom while they were working on them because they had to have the doors open.
And my last stop was at my catnip garden. It’s looking a little ragged from neglect and being surrounded by painting stuff. But it still smells awesome!
Before the painters left, the head guy gave my human a quote for working on some of the rooms inside. So it looks like they will be back at some point!

The house looks GREAT – they sure did a nice job on all the spots you’ve showed us. No doubt the whole house looks like it’s wearing a brand new “coat” !!
Hugs, Teddy
The painters did a pawsome job, your house looks like a pretty new house ! Purrs
Your house looks great! We guess they listened well to all of your supervising.
It all looks amazing!
That was a VERY big job and Summer, it looks wonderful, fresh and new. You did a good job snoopervising it.
Phew! That took a while, but it sure looks all brand new!
Summer, your home looks amazing!!
Everything looks amazing Summer. Your home is beautiful
Hooray for a job well done sweet Summer!
Everything looks fantastic!
They did a pawsome job! The doors and shutters look more like stains than paint. Unfortunately the painters here aren’t doing such a good job. They’ve been here for 3 months and haven’t even finished our building. They have 2 more building to go too.
Yay! the painters are done and it looks great. Glad your mint garden survived and that you are allowed to roam again.
Looks very nice!
That was a big job but everything is looking lovely now.
They did a great job. I wish they lived near me. Looks like my hubby and I will have to do the painting I want done ourselves. All the painters in my area are all booked up until the end of the year. The one guy that came for a quote was pretty drunk .
Dearest Summer,
We ENVY you as we are still waiting since April for having our exterior painted. No trees cut yet and of course no pressure washing of the aluminum aged copper roof + exterior yet…
All we got done last week was the outside electric wiring redone so we can again use the gazebo’s light, fan and electric grill. And the electric pump for getting water out of the pond (which feeds from a well) for watering plants, and heater for greenhouse.
Happy with that but the kitties of course did not like it… they all hid in the wood garden!
You look happy with the great results and no doubt are happy that those three weeks are over with. Well, except maybe for the interior… We too wait for interior work in our downstairs Rose Suite. Maybe this month; let’s hope so!
Hugs,
Mariette
Beautiful! Looks like a brand new house!
That’s a huge and pricey job but it looks amazing. Good job snoopervising!
The place looks great, Summer, but three weeks seems like a long time to paint. We had two guys paint our house in less than a day. You must live in a Hollywood mansion. 🙂
Wow! It looks beautiful!
Bet you are happy the work is all done and your place looks pawsome.
If they come back to do the indoors then you can really snoopervise them 😉

Big job and it looks well done. Your human is probably
very pleased. And your mint garden survived!
