Saturday’s cat show was lots of fun! It was small, so it wasn’t too exhausting. I napped a lot less than usual, and had lots of energy to do the usual Pet Me Cat duties, like visit and pose for photos.
My human was the one who had more work this time, because she had to set up the Somali breed booth — and break it down at the end of the day. I’m glad I didn’t have to help, other than look cute! She thought she did a pretty decent job with it. That is, until…
She saw the Abyssinian breed booth! It was pretty awesome.
If you lifted up the gold “bricks” in the pyramid, it revealed fun facts about Abys.
As you may have gathered, both the breed booths and the show had an Egyptian theme (since Abyssinians are said to have originated in northern Africa, and Somalis were developed from Abys). So I figured I should dress the part. I’m not sure why, but people were really impressed by my wearing this! Seriously, it was not that hard to wear. I’ve had to dress up in much more difficult costumes.
I actually wound up not wearing any dresses for this show. Mostly I just switched out neckwear or went without completely. This Halloween collar was fun!
I also wore my Goth choker. I think these were all good choices for the show, don’t you?
I had a great time this weekend! Next month, I’ll be back at a cat show in Glendale!
