My human and I were doing a photo session out back and we had just finished up. But before we could just relax and hang out for a while, my human saw something. We had a visitor!
It’s the peach kitten that was TNR’d over the summer! He’s almost full grown now. I actually know him a little, through the glass doors on the back patio. He stops by to look at me sometimes. My human has caught him doing that. And whenever it happens, she starts petting me to show him how awesome it is to be an inside, tame kitty. Once, she grabbed one of my cat toys (like the one you saw yesterday) and started playing with me! He wasn’t sure what to do. It was like he wanted to play but was confused and a little nervous.
I didn’t see him at first because he was behind me. But finally I turned around to see what my human was staring at. I couldn’t believe my eyes! He may have watched us before when we were outside, but this was the first time he let us see him.
He didn’t seem like he was anxious to run off. And my human didn’t try to come any closer to him because she didn’t want to scare him. I was totally ready to go up to him, but my human wouldn’t let me.
In fact, my human had me walk a few steps farther away from him.
She had me do some tricks and gave me a few treats. She tried throwing some treats at the peach kitty, but they were too small for him to find. After a few minutes, she wanted to go back inside, so she picked me up and went back up the stairs. The peach kitty turned around and left too, but he trotted. He didn’t run with his belly close to the ground like a lot of ferals might.
In case you are wondering, he’s the only one who behaves like this. The other two kittens and the mom keep away and run if my human takes the slightest step in their direction.

It’s nice to have friends – even “at a distance” friends. He’s obvious a curious guy and maybe even enjoys seeing humans and cats interacting. Maybe one day he will be lucky enough to have a human family and a safe inside home.
Hugs, Teddy
Your visitor looks cute. Maybe soon you will be friends!
What a cool surprise! That kitty is lucky to have people care about him.
You’ve got a furrend/secret admirer! He looks like my Buzz Lucas. Maybe your human an get him to come inside for a playdate or maybe roommate.
That kitty is very handsome, Summer. I think he wants to be friends.
He’s adorable! Purrs that he eventually decides he wants to be just like you, Summer!
WoW! We hope he continues to hang around. Merle, the feral that lives on our street, he does not run away when Mom goes over to Mary’s house and has just about walked inside Mary’s house, and he is starting to make furrends with her other 3 cats. Maybe he will make furrends with you!
That’s a sweet-looking kitty! Maybe he is yearning to become formerly feral?
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
Glad you two could see each other safely and respectfully. He seems like a calm kitty.
He is a beautiful boy. Sometimes ferals are friendly enough to adopt out. My mother-in-law actually coaxed two ferals to come into her house. They became inside/outside cats, coming and going at will. Well, she had to open the door but almost at will.
Wow Summer, this boy (I’m assuming) may be able to transition to inside pet. Maybe contact the TNR rescue people to let them know ginger boy may be domesticated. They can approach and possibly get him to try rehab. Ginger boys tend to be pretty calm and docile. That’s why you see so many celeb cats like Morris, in commercials and movies
he needs to come livez wif yoo, he cood be yor private security, to protect and scan yor foto shoot area while yoo r modeling, like kim kar-dash-she-on haz.
He is a cutie. Maybe if he keeps watching you, he will want to be an indoor kitty. XO
That was a wonderful surprise, Summer. Peach Kitty looks so interested in what you and your human were doing.
Summer, what a handsome kitty!
So glad he was TNR’d, but does he have a name?
He is really such a good looking kitty and he sure is curious about you sweet Summer!
What a beautiful little cat <3
A handsome lad, and I do hope he has the courage to come and say hello, and maybe even can I come and stay?
Nice that he is looking so well, too. BUt always best to be safe with Summer there.

He looks we fed for a feral kitty. I hope someone is looking after him.
That is a very handsome kitty. I hope he gets braver with time and lets your human get closer.
I imagine that wild kitty thinks your life looks pretty good
inside the house. It’s probably interesting to him how you
and your human interact – and he sees you get treats! I wonder
if he will come closer as time passes….
