I checked on my catnip garden this weekend, and discovered disaster had struck!
My catnip has some sort of bug infestation! It’s covered in them and the stems are wilting.
My human plucked out a leaf so I (and she) could get a closer look.
The photo still isn’t that clear, but they are tiny, tiny black bugs, way smaller than the green aphids we’ve seen before. Some of the bigger ones have wings. The ants seem to love them.
Unlike the ants, I think these bugs are nasty and I want them to go away!
My human is totally clueless about gardening stuff, so I need your help! What are these bugs and how do we get rid of them? Do I need to rip out the catnip again and start over? Any helpful advice is appreciated!
