Do you remember when I had a giveaway of a bunch of Jackson Galaxy toys? It’s okay if you don’t because that was over two years ago!
One of the items we had was a Vault Cat Toy Marinater. You put toys in it, plus some catnip in the partitions, and let the catnip marinate the toys. Well, my human did that, put it aside… and it has been in a corner somewhere since spring, 2016!
I think it’s about time we pulled those toys out, don’t you? These toys are now 2016 vintage, so I’m sure they’ve mellowed into something awesome.
Ugh! No, they haven’t! The marinater has stale catnip dust and it made me sneeze. Several times.
The catnip scent was barely perceptible. Well, I could smell it, at least. My human couldn’t even smell it at all. I think it’s time for a redo! And maybe we can check back on the toys in two weeks instead of two years, right? (In fact, supposedly the toys can get marinated in as little as 30 minutes.)
My human had some Tabby James catnip, and valerian too. They have also been sitting around for a while, but stored so that they are still potent. So she added them to the Vault Marinater, along with some silvervine that was also sitting around from who-knows-when.
Of course we had to supervise the process.
Well, it looks like someone fell down on the job! With any luck, I will report back in a couple of weeks instead of a couple of years and let you know how this went!
