I had an especially awesome time at this weekend’s cat show! I announced it on TikTok, and so many of my followers there showed up. Most of them had never been to a cat show before.
This was my meet and greet set up for the show. Admittedly, by the end it was pretty well covered in treat crumbs.
As often happens with these shows, I wound up not wearing much of what I brought. I did wear this pink sweater jacket that you saw the other day.
When my human was packing my clothes for the show, she tossed in this dress on a whim, and I wound up wearing it. And a tiara, and my pearl and crystal heart necklace. I think it is a pretty nice ensemble, don’t you?
The show itself wasn’t super busy. I think a lot of the regular cat show goers are still getting used to going out again. But I had a lot of social media followers show up! One couple even drove up from San Diego, just to meet me in person. My human and I were impressed, and a little humbled, by so many people who came by who only knew me from the internet.
My breeder and one of her Abys benched next to us, and she brought some good things to eat. At least my human said they were good. Among the goodies were these croissants with everything bagel seasoning. I didn’t get to have a taste, but she did give me a tiny taste of cheese later.
My human and I spent more time interacting with people than normal, plus we went live on TikTok a couple of times. So we both were extra tired by the end of the show! I had lots of fun, and my human made sure to pace me so that I didn’t get too tired or fussy. I can tell you we both slept well that night!

Sounds like it was a great cat show. I’d love to come out and see you sometime, but it’s a little far for me since I’m in the Midwest.

I’m totally not surprised you had a lot of people stop by to see you and say hello….you’re a pro at cat shows and know tricks you can show them and even let people pet you……you charm them all!
