When I’m doing a photo shoot outside, often instead of just hustling me back in, my human will let me hang out for a little while. She tries not to bother me too much with the camera (although it doesn’t really bother me), and tries to just let me be a cat. But of course, she usually winds up pulling out the camera anyway. That’s the story behind these casual portraits. They were taken after my Straw Hat Day photo shoot.
A lot of the photos did come out really nice!
My human also took a few moments to pet me. In spite of how this photo looks, I actually enjoyed it.
She also wanted to get a photo of the big tree behind me. Unfortunately the pic was kind of crooked, so she lost some off the top. But I think you get an idea of its size!
It was a beautiful day, and I was happy that my human let me sunbathe on the steps in front of our house. They had just the right amount of warmth. In the summer, I prefer the grass.
Eventually we did go back inside! I hope you enjoyed these casual photos. Let me know if you have a favorite.

Those are great. I have always been a fan of candid photography. That is why I never got into photography professionally because I would have had to do portraits or weddings and I was never comfortable posing people.
So hard to choose! The close up profile shows off your pretty eyes, and the last one is really neat with your Lady’s silhouette is striking. To me, it demonstrates how she’s always there guiding you and keeping you safe.. which we all appreciate! XOXO
p.s. the sunbathing shot is classic kitty life… Never pass up a moment to relax and warm the belly! MOL!
