I love being a Pet Me Cat! I made Happy Paws most of the time I was there. It’s like I was born to be a Pet Me Cat. For the cat show in South Gate, they gave me a space at the front of a row so the public could see me.
As you can see, I had a big space so I could do tricks, pose in all my outfits, and people had room to pet me and take photos.
And yes, I rang my desk bell! I was very good about it this time. I did other tricks too, and gave High Fives to several people. Even the macho guys who showed up at the show (not sure why they were there!) were taken with me.
I got to wear some of my favorite frocks. I hope nobody noticed they were repeats.
This one is an oldie but goodie — I’ve had it for a couple of years!
One of the exhibitors was handing out these little cat toys. I’m not sure what was in them. I will just say that my human left me with it for a few minutes, then when she picked it up again to take photos, it had drool all over it.
My new enclosure worked out really well! I only chewed on it a few times… usually when I could see my human taking Decker to and from judging rings. Strange coincidence, right? But anyhow, it was perfect for me.
That is, until I saw this set up! And if you think this fully tricked out cage was for some fancy Persian, you’d be wrong. It was for one of the Household Pet cats that was competing. If you can look on the left, you will see from the yellow tabs on the ribbon that he got some finals. I bet the cage inspired him to do well.
