You would think with my talents as a therapy cat that I’d take care of my human when she is sick. But no, that is Binga’s job to be nurse.
When my human stopped by the store to get stuff to help her feel better, she discovered that somebody thought up the “brilliant” idea of including positive messages with their cough drops.
Even the tissues have messages. My human is one of those people that needs to be told to slow down and take care of herself, not to buckle up and push on. She loathes being sick. She just wants to get it over with and go back to her regular life. Which is why she probably got sick on our trip. She was sick last week, but figured she was well enough to travel anyhow. Apparently, she wasn’t quite well enough to withstand three days of jet lag, getting up early, and weather changes.
So she relented and spent most of Monday in bed with Binga taking care of her.
Don’t think I was slacking off — I was still supervising.
And Binga always reported to me.
She was feeling better on Tuesday, which was when these roses arrived from her boyfriend. He has been on tour for the past month and won’t be coming back until Friday.
I really knew she was feeling better when she tied the red bow from the bouquet on me. No matter how good she feels, she will never be able to tie a decent bow.
