My human met a photographer on my account — her cats follow me. And she is working on her pet portfolio and asked if I’d be interested in doing some photos. My human said of course! Because I will take any excuse to be photographed. Doing a session like this helps keep me in practice for brand shoots. As if I need it… really, I just love doing them.
The photo studio was not far from us, just a couple of stops up the freeway. And it was pretty nice. It had lots of amenities, a make up and dressing room, and lots of areas for me to explore.
Since it’s Halloween month, the photographer suggested that we bring some costumes and props. So my human packed up some things. Including, unfortunately, La Suegra. Who thinks she is an expert at photography. As you can see, she didn’t shut up the whole time.
Fortunately, she was sidelined pretty quickly and I got to wear a couple of my pirate outfits.
I also got to wear my nurse’s uniform. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of this over the next few weeks.
Here I am hard at work. The photographer was impressed with my professionalism. It turns out that she shot rock bands in the 1990s (and still does), and since my human photographed rock music in the 1980s, they had a lot to talk about. In addition to cat photography, of course.
One of the last outfits I wore was my bikini.
We finished up by borrowing some jewelry off the clothing rack in the dressing room. These seemed fitting.
It was such a fun session, for both me and my human! I can’t wait to see how the photos turned out.
