Have you ever wanted to go behind the scenes of one of my photo and video shoots? You get to today! And I have both photos and video to show you.
Here I am in the turret, getting ready to be photographed. As you can see, the light from the turret window isn’t the only light. My human struggled for a while to get a light set up that wasn’t blocked by the big post in the middle of the turret. This battery operated light on a gooseneck solved the problem. We just started using it.
Here’s what it looks like without the extra light.
Here’s what happens when the light is turned on. It’s a big difference! And the light from the windows is still there too.
As soon as my human puts the camera on the tripod, we’ll be ready to go! You can see more of my behind the scenes secrets in the short video below.

Your human has to do a LOT of work to set these up
with additional lighting. You seem to know all about

That is really a big difference. If I didn’t have one of my sons who is a pro photographer as well as his day job…I’d never have appreciated the correct addition of artificial lighting. Even outside…by virtue of a reflector.
