Let’s take a look out my dirty back door window and see how my nip plant is doing!
Amazingly enough, it is still there — and it has even grown!
My human swears that all these fallen jacaranda blossoms won’t hurt it. She thinks they are pretty and hates it when they are eventually cleared away.
And guess what! I have another quickie giveaway! I have a bag of Pet Greens Dried Catnip Buds to give away!
This is another random giveaway — just say you would like it in the comments, and my human will go to random.org once again and pick a winner. Unfortunately, you have to be a U.S. resident for this one — most countries don’t let you mail plants, dried or otherwise, to them (my human checked!) and it might get confiscated. All qualifying posts until 11:59 P.M. Friday, June 17 will be counted!
By the way, Winging Cat Rescue was randomly picked from Tuesday’s post! My human was happy about that because she has been focused on so many other cat rescues this year, she has not had a chance to give them as much as she normally does.

Your catnip looks better than the plant we have in the house. TW dries it and stuffs it into my toys b/c I won’t eat it fresh. I’d love to try those catnip buds. I’ll let you know how potent they are. MOL
Your little catnip plant is so cute! We would LOVE to win that bag of nip buds!
Oh that ‘nip is lookin’ good…I got a bit carried away with mine and broke the whole pot and lost the ‘nip, but mom found some roots and planted them somewhere. Must find them as soon as the new plant gets big enough. Hmmm where could she have planted it…

Your catnip plant looks good, Sparkle. And the spent jacaranda blossoms add to the presentation 🙂 You’re so nice to have the catnip bud give-away – Yow! We’d like to be included. Thanks!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, and Hollie
Your catnip garden is looking great. We love the pretty purple blossoms even on the ground. My mom bought a bunch of catnip seeds and they are still in the seed packet…sitting there on the table just taunting us.
Hey Sparkle, Your catnip looks good!! Hope no outside kitty finds it!! We just adopted a kitty TODAY!! His name is Peanut and he was at the humane society. Everyone overlooked him because he has a bum rt. eye…but we dont care. He is adorable. We pick him up tomorrow. I wonder if he is a catnip kitty. I bet he would love some catnip from you!! Our other cat Fred is a catnip monster! Enjoy your fresh nip either fresh or dried. hugs, anne, jen & Peanut
Looks like your catnip is doing very well 🙂 We hope it will grow to be a very big nips that fill the garden!!
These fallen jacaranda blossoms are very beautiful. I understand your mom does not want them to be cleared away.
Ohhh, catnip buds??? You mean you can get catnip outside of toys? And in a plant?!?!!?
I must have a discussion with mommy about this.
Love, Scout
By the way, we think your are one beautiful cat!

You may be able to harvest that catnip by fall at the rate it’s growing! 🙂 We’d love to win the catnip too! Thanks for the opportunity!
BTW, we’d love to win the treats!
Thank goodness catnip is very hardy! Tell your Mommy to mulch it for the summer. My cats have been eating theirs. They need to practice some restraint so it’ll grow all summer!
I live in the US and I would like some of that catnip for my furbabies.
Wow! Cool nip plant. We had one once but I think Georgia got into it, the weather turned cold and then the neighborhood cats finished it off…
Nip Plant????????? We’re on our way to your house, cuz we killed our nip plant before mama could get it planted in a bigger pot!!!!!!!!
xxxxxxx
I thought your plant was looking good in the pot. Aren’t you supposed to let the leaves dry in order to eat it? Hmm, I am just a human. I bought catnip one time. The girls couldn’t have cared less, but the aphids loved it!
I mean I bought a catnip plant.
You can eat/sniff it dry or fresh… well, not you as a human, I mean cats. Although I suppose a human could eat it too, if she were so inclined.
Your catnip plant is looking promising! My kitties have never tried the fresh stuff, just dried. Speaking of which… I bet they’d like those dried catnip buds! I’ve never seen buds before, but if it’s extra potent, I know Scarlett would go absolutely gaga over it.
Why, Sparkle, you know what? I think **I** would like that bag of treats! You look extra beautiful today–does that up my chances of winning it? Not that I would stoop to buttering you up or anything.
Your nip looks good, Sparkle! Hope no introoder cats can get to it!
The dog should keep the neighbor kitties away from my nip! Wow, she is good for something.
I think my kitties might like to try those nip buds…
Oooh…that looks like some great ‘nip!! Mom can’t grow any for me because I pull the pots over and get dirt on the floor whenever she tries. Your mom should grow more nip for you–there is lots of room in that garden!
Hi Sparkle, I don’t want to make you jealous but my catnip plant has taken off from the pot and is growing here and there all over my garden. However I can’t care less about catnip, so it is all wasted. Lynettea says that some cats are genetically programmed to like catnip and others aren’t. She probably doesn’t really know, but she is always keen to educate me. I must check it up on Google for Cats.
Diamond
Concats on the survival of your nip. Ours didn’t make it.
I agree with your mum Sparkle, those purple petals are very pretty! I don’t think they will hurt the catnip either 🙂
I think Katz is onto something, a very full nip garden would be terrific!
Yep… it’s a plant.. I mean not a huge plant, but it’s getting there.
pawhugs and patience pal. … Max
Your nip is looking like cat nip. It really is growing and we have to agree that little purple flowers look very pretty around it. We would love to win the Pet Greens. Looks interesting. Hope the family has a great day.
Kiwi would very much like the catnip buds. I’m not a fan personally but she said she’s getting tired of the flaky stuff and would like to try the catnip buds. Thank you.
Your nip is more important than pretty plants, Sparkle. Push the mummy into making the whole garden a nip centre!
Your nip is looking healthy, Sparkle! We’re sure it’ll be big enough to eat soon enough!
BTW, the give-away is great, though we’re in Canada and can’t participate. Even if we could, Canada Post is having a strike and retaliatory lock-out at the moment. LOL.
We allas wants catnips. Our beans just don know how to get stuffs like dat to grow though. Dem is good lookin piktures dis time.
Conscatulation to your human …It’s survived !!!!
Every time I think about how hard your nip has survive, I always laugh by no reason..heh..heh
And Having fallen jacaranda around the nip looks so pretty, Sparkle !
I think green and purple go well together : )
xoxoxo
Your catnip looks like the catnip we just started on our porch! My kitties are already trying to get at it, lol. I would like some of that Catnip and I’m in the US!
We’re glad to hear yoor catnip is doing well. The petals look pretty, but the catnip should be given priority. Fact.
