Barely-A-Garden Thursday

June 16, 2011 By: Sparkle Cat49 Comments

You say you don't do windows... but then, who does?

Let’s take a look out my dirty back door window and see how my nip plant is doing!

Still not more than a couple of nibbles' worth.

Amazingly enough, it is still there — and it has even grown!

My human forgot to take a whiff to test its potency... maybe it's just as well.

My human swears that all these fallen jacaranda blossoms won’t hurt it. She thinks they are pretty and hates it when they are eventually cleared away.

It was very hard to keep me and Binga from attacking this package of nip!

And guess what! I have another quickie giveaway! I have a bag of Pet Greens Dried Catnip Buds to give away! It says on the bag that it is “the most potent form of dried catnip available.”

I'm surprised there are no cat faces in this photo!

This is another random giveaway — just say you would like it in the comments, and my human will go to random.org once again and pick a winner. Unfortunately, you have to be a U.S. resident for this one — most countries don’t let you mail plants, dried or otherwise, to them (my human checked!) and it might get confiscated. All qualifying posts until 11:59 P.M. Friday, June 17 will be counted!

By the way, Winging Cat Rescue was randomly picked from Tuesday’s post! My human was happy about that because she has been focused on so many other cat rescues this year, she has not had a chance to give them as much as she normally does.

Your catnip looks better than the plant we have in the house. TW dries it and stuffs it into my toys b/c I won’t eat it fresh. I’d love to try those catnip buds. I’ll let you know how potent they are. MOL

Hi Sparkle, I don’t want to make you jealous but my catnip plant has taken off from the pot and is growing here and there all over my garden. However I can’t care less about catnip, so it is all wasted. Lynettea says that some cats are genetically programmed to like catnip and others aren’t. She probably doesn’t really know, but she is always keen to educate me. I must check it up on Google for Cats.
