I was out of my breakfast food, so my human and I stopped by our local pet shop. As you can see by my sweater, it is getting cold here! And, in case you are wondering, I got to pick which sweater to wear.
Of course, you know where I stopped first! I needed to see if they had any new cat toys.
They did have some cool holiday toys, like these catnip mittens. They smelled awesome.
In fact, I was pretty excited about all the pet shop smells! When we were checking out, I found lots on and around the counter that was interesting.
Actually, most of it was dog stuff, like this chew. Why do dogs get so many cool smelling things?
It got to the point where my human was just handing things over to me to sniff.
Don’t worry — I got a turkey tendon to bring home!

Mom told me she has never seen a turkey tendon in any whop here. I guess us Southern kitties just don’t eat ’em.

WOW That looks like so much fun! I would LOVE to go, IF I did not have to get picked up and put in the car! IF I could walk on a leash! IF I could handle strangers without wanting to hide! I’ve asked my Peep if she could bring home some of that stuff and she just laughs, but she did bring home some Yeeow Fishies and Special treats on her last trip. (BUT no turkey tendon)
Sniff everything until you find something you like, then give it the ol’ bitey and make it yours!

Looks like you enjoyed your outing, Summer. It is so unfair that there is so much stuff for dogs and not for kitties. Our Mom always grumps about this when she goes into a pet shop. At least you scored a turkey tendon!

It makes me laugh to say it. You are getting a lot of nose treats
