This year, National Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day (January 22) falls on Caturday! In the past, I’ve offered to have my human answer cats’ questions if their humans are having trouble coming up with a response. Since it has been a while, I thought I would do it again!
In case you are wondering about the origins of this holiday, it was apparently created by Ruth and Thomas Roy of Wellcat.com. On their very old school website, you can see they’ve created lots of quirky holidays, not always cat focused. National Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day is meant to inspire people to better understand their cats. That is something I wholeheartedly support!
So if your cat has a question that you can’t answer, ask in the comments! My human and I also shot a quick video so that my TikTok and Instagram users can ask their cat’s questions too. You can see it below.

We are a couple days late for questions maybe, but we have noticed that Lori like to stand on TBT’s shoulders a lot. We others don’t. Why does she do that? She just says it seems right.
I’ve asked this on Twitter, but maybe other cats and their humans can learn from this: What does it mean, when I bury my nose in Sydney’s fur, and she slaps me? (It means that she wants me to stop)
I have a question. Why does my ridiculous giant Sheltie brother take up soooo much of my pawrents time? It seems that they are BEYOND fixated on him and I don’t think that’s right!!! Love, Roary
I pretty much speak eat and sleep cat since I was 3. I’m not 3 anymore lol. But I do think I know a few of my cat’s questions. “Why doesn’t she have fur?, why won’t she let me eat her food?, why does she get upset when we sit on her face/neck/throat when she’s sleeping?
Would love to find out what people want to know.

I kind of asked a question on the friendly fill – ins, but my human did not answer it, so Summer, I, Marv am asking you…why does my human not appreciate the gifts of dead birds and rodents that I bring to her? Thank you for offering to answer! Purrs Marv

I always try to come up with a question for your human since my humans never answer me or don’t have answers. When I’m walking into a room, why are my humans always walking in the opposite direction? They say it’s cos I come in at the wrong time. I think they’re rude and should stay.
