Almost a Garden Thursday

December 1, 2011 By: Sparkle Cat35 Comments

What horror am I going to see THIS time?

Let’s see how that scraggly little catnip plant is doing. I am almost afraid to look.

It almost looks like a real catnip plant!

This is amazing — it actually has grown! I will have to send my human out to pinch it back so it stays bushy. I hope she doesn’t mess it up.

I hope my eyes do not deceive me!

And wait a minute — do you see what I see?

It's ALIVE!

Could it be… the catnip plant that the gardener so callously murdered — coming back to life?

Boodie is happy too! Can you see her in the back?

It’s a better day after all!

I am really in love with your cat and the way you created your blog around her. I am pretty sure she appreciates the way you speak on her name :). I am a cat lover and cat owner myself and I understand every bit of emotion you share, most people don’t get us…but who cares. Kisses and hugs.

Well that’s wonderful, good news indeed! Being in the mint family, it is hard to kill, but my cats succeeded…they tore it right out by the roots : (

Catnips are pretty Tough. My AAB thought she killed two in one week, and then it came back! (Usually her murders are more permanent.)

That was a super-a-citing graden tour, Sparkle!! Look at THAT! A plant and a half! I hope that when she “pniches” it, the pinches are immediately delivered to you.

Thank goodness, Sparkle. I would hate to think of the torture required if you didn’t have fresh catnip as desired.

That’s exciting to see your nip plant doing so well Sparkle! We guess it helps when the gardener actually realizes it’s an important plant and not weeds!

Your catnip plant looks like it is doing great and you have a new baby catnip plant, too. You are lucky kitties. I wish I could send you some of my extra weight, too. Has your Mom tried a high quality kitten food to help you gain weight? It sure worked for me.

Tell your mom to hurry up and pinch off a piece like now. You’ve been patiently waiting for soo long for some fresh ones since the gardener pulled up the other one way back when. There’s two plants now :), so a little pinch now won’t hurt.

Catnip! Such a piece of vegetation! I’m glad your human is obedient – you’ve got to keep them in line. It’s so good to see that the other catnip plant is rising back up. Just goes to show that everything, plants included, lives in absolute deferential submissive acquiescence to us cats!

Don’t fret cos the gardener will prolly pull the small one out again as a weed unless the human speaks up. I gotta tell TW that you have to pinch back the nip plant because ours is long and stringy. BTW, you and I are two of the only cats we know who really show our emotions on our faces and that’s a good thing.

That qualifies as garden status in our books! Double the nip–this is great. How long till you get some of the fresh leaves from the larger plant? 🙂
