My human is planning on taking me to the pet store sometime this week. She couldn’t get it together yesterday, but she still wanted to give me what she calls “enrichment.” So she took me outside for a quick training session. Instead of using my concrete table, like we usually do, she decided to do it on the front steps for a change.
As you probably guessed from the first photo, I practiced ringing my bell.
And of course I practiced my high fives. I do that pretty much every day.
I also practiced my paw shakes. My human was not satisfied until I did it while looking at her. Usually I’m looking away or somewhere else, and she thinks it appears kind of rude. I didn’t know paw shakes had etiquette, but apparently they do.
I also practiced sitting up. Or rather, my human practiced taking photos of me sitting up. Clearly this was one of her flubs.
She did manage to get one decent shot, although I still look freakish.
And like usual, we ended with me practicing my bye-bye wave.
And my human couldn’t resist taking a few close ups of me too.
Which trick of mine is your favorite? Let me know in the comments… or if there is something you’d like me to learn!
