We’ve had what seems like endless rain around here! But finally there was enough of a break between rainstorms — and my human’s schedule — for me to go hang out outside. Since the sun was playing hide-and-seek between the clouds and it was still a bit cool, I wore a light hoodie.
When the sun did choose to come out, it was really nice!
At my human’s insistence, I took the concrete path instead of wandering in the grass like I wanted.
I will say, the steps smelled really interesting! So of course I had to do what a kitty always does when something smells interesting — rub my face all over them! I nailed most of the steps before my human got bored and made me move on. She is such a spoilsport.
I do have to say, it was worth taking a break from marking the steps to check out the awesome green view we have right now!
I hope you enjoyed my brief time outside! Of course, it is raining once again. So it’ll probably be a few days before I can go out again.
Maybe your Mom can get you a kitty raincoat?
We love all the lush greenery. We sure wish spring would arrive and stay. The photo of you rubbing your face on the steps is super cute. XOCK, Kitties Blue
Everything looks so green and beautiful! We love seeing your yard.
Those are some lovely shots, Summer! #1 tells us that, after a couple of really nice days in Switzerland, she is getting rain.
Purrs,
The Chans
Well Summer, I understand but the rain is good. California needs rain so there aren’t those nasty fires. I love the pic of you marking the steps, adorable
We are glad you did. OUR back yard alternates between frozen and icky-wet…
Yes, we’ve been watching the weather reports for L.A., and you are getting some really crazy rain, huh? Glad you got some outside time between the raindrops, Summer!
Whoa! I thought it never rained in So. California. If I remember you brought the rain up her with you too.
You look very nice in your hoodie. I’m glad
you got a bit of sunshine today and some
outdoor time.
Your eyes are so green in those surroundings, Summer! We are still brown grass and bare trees around here; not even our early bloomer tree has truly awakened yet. Oh well. We can wait.
What a great outing you had in your yard Summer. Too bad you did not get more face rubbing in as it looked like fun.
Humans don’t understand such things :/
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Everything is so green! You sure look cute in that hoodie.
The next kitty or human that takes a walk on those steps will smell your delightful perfume.
We got 11 inches of snow here in ORE Gon last Sunday and even though the sun came out the last couple of days, the snow still hasn’t all melted away!
Sure glad, you were able to get outside for a litle bit anyway. You sure are looking good Summer.
Your dress is so pretty, very spring like. It’s raining here AGAIN!!!!
We’re glad you could go out between two showers ! We’re glad you’re getting some rain though, we remember the drought at your place. Purrs
That is a pretty dress. And you look extra cute with your head tipped on the steps.
Glad you got out between the showers, Summer. It is important to make sure you rub your face everywhere to let others know it is your property.
Hey! You’re getting all our PNW rain! When you’re done with it, send it packing up here otherwise we’re not going to be green this summer. We do LOVE seeing you outside. It’s actually snowing here this very minute (too warm to stick).
All we’ve been having is one storm after another. I’m glad you were able to get out and about. Good for you.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your peeps. ♥
Beautiful Summer, your eyes match the spring green around you – love the light hoodie!
All that rain made your yard very green!
I love that photo of you on the steps!
glad to spend a few minutes outside with you. I can kinda remember what it was like to go outside where there isn’t 50 feet of snow on the ground.
Too bad you and Binga can’t go out together, that would be fun! It’s been pretty chilly over here in Texas believe it or not. Mom still let Lilly and Morton step outside to show them it was cold. Hard headed kitties, MOL. So glad you got to venture out too. Purrs
Nice to see all that green, Summer. We still got that white stuff on the ground.
Looks like a nice little walk you were able to get between rain storms. We’ve had a lot of COLD weather here and while I enjoy being outside, my visits are shorter. Mom thinks I don’t like cold feet……she might be right!
Hugs, Teddy
You sure were enjoying that out n’ about sweet Summer!
OH you look like an enchantress in that outfit!
We glad you were able to get outside. It’s been cold and rainy here.
Glad ya got a break from da rain. And your eyes look amazing in dat last photo!
You got out! You look as though you had fun AND we love your hoody!
