Warriors Super Edition: Bluestar’s Prophecy
By Erin Hunter
If you miss the characters from the first Warriors series, or if the books left you wondering about some of the events that happened before the start of Into the Wild, you’ll find the answers here in this “Super Edition,” which follows Bluestar’s life from her kittenhood up until she discovers Rusty (later Firestar). You get to know cats who you met only as elders or leaders as kits and apprentices — who knew Crookedstar was such an overgrown goofball when he was Crookedpaw? You find out that Whitestorm was actually Bluestar’s nephew, and watch from Bluestar’s point of view as Tigerclaw brutally attacks a young Scourge (a scene seen in the manga book, Warriors: The Rise of Scourge).
Great! We will read that after we are done with serise 1 (we are new warrior fans. we just started them yesterday infact!)
The first series of Warriors (which you just read) is the best so far (although series #4, which just began, shows a LOT of promise). Bluestar’s Prophecy is the book that comes closest in feel to the first series.
Great review! I’ve read the first six books of the Warriors. Now I am itching to read this one about Bluestar’s past, thanks to your review.
