If you read cat blogs regularly, you may know about the 15 and Meowing kitties. Not too long ago, the human who runs the blog, Ellen, got a deal to publish a book about one of her feline family members, Prancie.
Prancie found a home with Ellen’s family one cold December night, when she took shelter in a Nativity scene that was part of their yard decorations. This children’s book tells the story of Prancie’s rescue.
It’s a cute little book, with sweet illustrations and a heartwarming story. I wanted to get the word out early about it because it would make a great stocking stuffer, especially for people who celebrate the religious meaning behind Christmas (or you could get it early to read out loud as part of the holiday season). But I want to add that my secular human loved the book too. Especially because it is a true story.
If you would like to get a copy of Prancie’s Prayer, you can find it on Amazon. And I am also having a giveaway! One reader will win a copy of the book, and Ellen said she will send it worldwide, so anyone can enter, as long as the giveaway is allowed!
To enter, comment on this blog post, and say you did on the Rafflecopter widget below. That will give you more chances to enter! The giveaway is open until midnight on Thursday, November 1. Good luck!
In case you are wondering who won the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder, it was Rhyanon D. — her cat Nakia is one of my Instagram followers!
Disclosure: I received a copy of Prancie’s Prayer for free from the author for an honest review. The Amazon link to the book is an affiliate link, and I will get a small commission if you use it to make a purchase.

Every cat lover should have a copy. When is your children’s book coming out, Summer. You could do something like Coco the Couture Cat did with different outfits.

It was a very sweet book. Mom loves our copy.
I can’t wait for my copy of the book to arrive, but Amazon say it will be Christmas before it comes! I think though it will be well worth the wait and will become a great item on the shelf. I hope Ellen gets to do a few more and share her tales around the world. Good stories deserve to be read, irrespective of domination or class or language.
Congratulations to your winner too, I think they’ll really enjoy that feeder.
