Bingo Explores the Farm
By Julia King
Bingo is a handsome young tabby cat who lives on a farm and is the star of two books (at least so far). The first, Bingo’s Big Adventure, was a Mom’s Choice Awards Winner last year, and in it, Bingo found out all sorts of interesting things about the farm and the animals that lived there. But now that he has settled in, he is in search of new adventures! (Typical mancat, always a bit restless.) In a series of bright color photographs, he searches out the old and new around the farm and discovers that sometimes fun and friendship are closer than a kitty expects. Although this is a children’s book and meant for ages 3–8, the beautiful photography and artistic layout make it a pleasure even for grown-up cat loving humans like my own. Humans who do have young children will love that this is not just a nice book to read, but that it also contains learning opportunities with questions at the end, and fun facts about the book’s layout. (And yes, my human did go back and look for the little details mentioned there.) I love this book especially because it helps human kittens get up close and personal with us kitties, and you can never start being a cat person too early!
A copy of this book was comped for review. Links to Amazon are Associate links — hey, a kitty’s gotta eat!
Now that is MY kind of book! A cat that has adventures! I gotta get me that book!

We love books. The mom likes to read them and Oui Oui loves their taste (but the printing ink is not good for her). Its sounds like a lovely book!

This might make a good Hanukkah present for the Human Kitten of a friend of the Humans. We will check it out! Will there be a companion book called “Binga Explores Sparkles House and Plays with her Stuff”?
Sounds like a very interesting book! I often find some children’s books are enjoyable for adults as well. And as this book involves kitty, I might check it out!
