Cat Sponsorship

Do you (like my human) have all the cats you can handle, or is there some reason you can't have cats? You can still sponsor a cat - many organizations have cats that, for one reason or another, are unadoptable. To keep them fed and happy, they solicit donations from kindly people - like you, I hope - to help defray expenses.

	Cat Guardians This no-kill cat shelter is located in Lombard, Illinois and, while they adopt out most of the kitties they take in, some will never find a home. For $20 you can sponsor any of the cats here for a month, but you're especially encouraged to sponsor one of their "special needs" cats.
	Royal City Humane Society Located in New Westminster, British Columbia, they always have some cats living there that are not easily adoptable. Check out the photos, and keep in mind that some of these cats may do well in a foster type situation. Have any room?
	North Shore Animal League I practically had to drag my human away from this page! It has pictures of their special needs cats and if you click on a cat, it tells you his or her story. Some of the cats pictured actually have found homes, others succumbed to whatever medical condition they had, and others are still in need of your help. They're located in Port Washington, New York. I kind of think it's a good thing they're not in our town; otherwise my human would probably spend all her time down there.
	Hearthside Cats This Geneseo, New York no-kill organization adopts out a lot of cats, but they also have a number of unadoptables. You can read their stories and pick one to foster. They have different levels of sponsorship, as this page explains.
	Adopt-A-Cat Foundation Here's another page of kitty photos and lots of sad stories. This no-kill shelter is located in Lake Park, Florida. You can also sponsor a spay or neuter procedure for a feral cat.
	Chapelhouse Persian Rescue This Persian rescue organization, located in the U.K., always has some cat who could use your help. It's galling what some of these beautiful creatures have been through. Your donation will help defray a lot of medical expenses!
	Cats' Aid This Dublin, Ireland cat rescue organization has quite a few cats who need sponsors. Find out about them on this page.
