There's a little battle going on between Binga and my human over the office floor heater.

I don’t care what humans say about it being really cold in other parts of the world. I think it’s plenty cold here, and we cats do everything we can to keep warm. Binga likes to go straight to the source, which in our office means the floor heater. My human is always getting mad at her because she lies right on top of it. She is worried that 1) she will burn herself, and 2) she will get cat fur in the grating and cause a fire, or at the very least make a mess that will cost a lot to have cleaned. In fact, there were a couple balls of fur in this shot that my human removed with Photoshop. You’d think with all her worrying, she would have removed them in real life instead.

So my human says that instead of lying on top the heater, we cats should lay next to it, like this:

Have you heard anything stupider in your life? Like Binga is going to obey that rule for any longer than the 10 seconds it took to shoot that photo!

Since I am not one of those pidgin-speaking LOL cats (although I would like to eat a pigeon someday), I always welcome the opportunity to use my extensive vocabulary. And I have the perfect word for today, because I find my human’s efforts at regulating our heater behavior utterly ineffectual.
