When I found out that World’s Best Cat Litter was having round four of its GiveLitter™ charitable drive, I just had to post about it! Why? Because if I did so, they offered to donate 15 more pounds of litter to their total!
I think you have to be a cat to fully understand just how exciting this GiveLitter™ drive is. In fact, you probably have to be a shelter cat to fully get it because well, let me put it this way: shelter cats don’t exactly get the optimum bathroom facilities. Either they are confined in a cage where their litter box and food, of necessity, have to be fairly near each other. Or like the cats at Kitten Rescue (the local rescue where my human volunteers sometimes, and which was one of the litter recipients in round two), they have a big room to run around in, but they also have to share facilities with a bunch of other cats. So the more litter a shelter has, the cleaner the litter boxes can be and the less likely the volunteers are to run out of litter! Makes sense, right?
The three shelters who will benefit in round four are A.D.O.P.T. pet shelter in Naperville, IL, ARF — Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons — in Wainscott, NY, and Homeward Pet Adoption Center of Woodinville, WA. To add to the amount of litter that World’s Best is donating, all you have to do is vote for one of these shelters daily! You can do this either on the World’s Best Cat Litter Facebook page, or on the program’s website. Each time you vote, 1/10 of a pound of litter is donated! The first time you “Like” or vote on their Facebook page, a full pound of litter is donated! The drive goes from August 1 to September 16, and the litter raised will be donated proportionally to the shelters, according to the number of votes each one gets.
A tenth of a pound here, a pound there does add up! The round that Kitten Rescue was involved in had a total of 18,606 pounds of litter donated! That’s a lot of scooping for some helpful volunteers! So start voting, and get that litter flowing!

That’s a good cause. I’ll have mum like the FB page.
I do it ! Not a problem at all !!! Thanks for all info, Sparkle
xoxo
I’m going over to fb now. Thanks for posting It’s a win win for the shelter cats.
Wow! This is very cool of WBCL!! We already like them on FB, but we’ll go vote!!
That is such a great thing for the World’s Best Litter to do. We voted. And will continue to vote. Anything to help the poor shelter animals. Take care.
We see you don’t have to register to vote (on the web site), which always is nice. This is a great thing for the company to do!
Yep, it all adds up and I’m so glad they are doing that, they have a great product and a great heart!
Neat. Have to check out fb and vote!!!
I’ll go vote cos I remember being in a cage with about an inch and a half of litter in my box.
Awesome! WBCL is the best! We will go vote.
It’s a great cause and I’m going to vote everyday!
The publicist liked them and voted.
Thank you for telling us about this.
We’ll be sure to vote! We’re glad they are helping the shelter kitties have clean facilities!
We don’t do facebook Sparkle, but we will vote often on the website
Way to go Sparkle! Mommy will help us vote…..we use that litter also and have for many years!!!! =^Y^=

I voted and will keep the address as a clean bathroom makes happier kitties and this is something to help those shelter cats. I know how quickly a bag of litter can go even with just me using the litter it seems as if my Mom is always getting more litter.
We were by there earlier to vote and bookmarked the site so we can remember to go back to vote daily. You’re right, it adds up.
I went over to the website. I don’t have facebook.
My Human has abandoned facebook so we went to the website! I even made the Human put in MY email address to get an extra half-pound, MOL!
We love this cause and will go right over and “like” it.
Since all of our pets are from shelters, we love them! I wish I could vote for all of them.
I think it’s wonderful what they’re doing, we think of donating food, but litter is just as important. I will vote to help out, I just wish there were other choices besides World’s Best. They use corn that is Genetically Modified, so using it supports Monsanto and the use of Roundup and that REALLY bothers me. Also, grains such as corn encourage the growth of mycotoxins when they get damp. I can’t condone using GMO’s, but I encourage donating to shelters as much as possible.
It is a great cause and love that World’s Best Cat Litter does this. They even have rebates quite often. I put this on my blog too and I just happen to have a giveaway right now for World’s Best Cat Litter so come on over if you like the stuff!
Thank you, YRH, for sharing these wonderful opportunities with all of us, and for being a tireless (and always impeccably dressed!) advoCATe for cats who, through no fault of their own, are less fortunate. We voted! >^^<
