We agree that getting enough sleep is essential Sparkle and sometimes we grab some extra zzzzs on our Mum’s knee while she wastes her time reading !

Item #5 is of course the most important!

Sparkle, you need to watch a sheepdog at work one of these days. Those are awesome woofies and they really know how to work. Our friend Jim is one and he is a champion sheepdog. And when he is done working, he expects to find a large bucket of water so that he can go sit in it for a while!

You’re right! I WAS wonderin’ about point number five. Catnaps are extremely important for focus and whatnot. Peeps would be wise to take ‘em, more often.

Sparkle, you make some very excellent points. I think I will take a little nap, you know, so I can be focused!

Good advice but just for the record, my Sheltie brother does a pawesome job at working security….he works 24/7!! If it moves, breathes, or is an inanimate object in our space, he’s ON IT! MOL! Love, Cody

This just proves what we have always thought–Cats are vastly superior to humans in every way (except for that “opposable thumb” thing). Purrs…

Here’s the thing: I most certainly *don’t* want to work like a dog (or do anything else like a dog either!) but I also don’t want to work like a cat.

I don’t want to work *at all*.

We concur that persistence is one of the things that make our ability to work so much more efficient than that of dogs. And we don’t waste gobs of energy flailing our tail all over the place and slobbering. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
