My blog buddies Karen and Gerard Zemek were thrilled that their dog Abby Dabby Doo was the “Picture Perfect Pet” in their local newspaper, the Parma Sun Post. It inspired them to create a mini-meme: a chance for bloggers to “interview” their pet. Technically, I guess I don’t have a pet, so I thought I would use the same questions for my human instead:
Age: I don’t know. She was full-grown when I got her.
Breed/Type: Mixed breed
Dines on: Salads, Mexican food, sushi, Lean Cuisine and turkey burgers.
Favorite Treat: Red Velvet cupcakes and champagne. Usually not at the same time.
Occupation: My assistant. Job duties include feeding me, playing with me and buying me stuff, plus editing, running my blog, doing photography and working with Adobe Creative Suite.
Favorite pastime: I’m not sure she has one. She is always in front of that stupid computer. Maybe that is her pastime.
Best trick: Changing my litter box. At least, to hear her talk about it, you would think it was a tricky chore.
Shared trait with owner: We both like to exercise.
Praise from the owner: Well, she’s fairly good with Photoshop.
If you could change one thing about your pet: I would change the way she laughs! It hurts my ears. Plus it would be nice if she stopped kissing me all the time.

Wow, we’re impressed. You can get your servant to excercise?! We think ours has grown roots in the chair that’s in front of the silly computer. She even sleeps in da chair.

She is very bad about the sushi – she usually eats it at a restaurant and never brings any home.

If she has a cupcake, it’s in the afternoon for energy. Champagne is for evening, when she’s done doing anything important. So there are conflicting excuses to have them.
Your mom and mine have a lot in common except for the exercise thing. How do you do it?
My human and I both think exercising is fun. That’s because we only do activities we enjoy. If she doesn’t like it, she won’t do it – she is like a cat in that way.
