I know some of you are friends with Sebastian, or as he is known on Twitter, @SeaBassCat. Thursday night, the apartment building where he and his family live caught fire and they lost everything they owned! Thankfully, Sebastian, Guinea pig Dottie (@DottieGP) and their human Amy (@BoSoxAmy) escaped and are safe, but they need lots of help right now. They are much-loved members of our blogging community, and many of us wanted to help, so George the Duck quickly set up a ChipIn widget, with the money going directly to Amy.
Something awful like this could happen to any of us, so please help, even if it’s just a little! The ChipIn is below, and I am also leaving it on my righthand sidebar (scroll down a bit to see it) until the donation date is up.

I told the Human to go chip in a little and she said we could so we did. Poor kitty and piggy and Mom. We hope they have some good friends to take them in for a while.
