Of course I want to kiss your kitty lips, Sparkle. I do that to the boys and I can just hear them go “EEEEWWWWWWW.”
I appreciate the FB post re: Toby…I keep asking the Universe for “All this or something better, for my Highest Good, Nicki and Derry’s Highest Good, Toby’s Highest Good, and the Highest Good of any and all Beings in my conscious and voluntary care.” But often what we humans want and what “Highest Good” really means are not in accord. So I don’t know what’s best for Toby. I beat myself up every day about him, then try to counter that with the thought that at least he has plenty of food (PLENTY, he’s HUGE), a warm hide-out, and cuddle time. But it just doesn’t seem like much, for a cat that wants human love and attention. It just happens to be my attention he wants, because I’m the only one who provides food.
