Boodie is one good looking cat!
Boodie, you are a beauty! I need some cat advice. We have a 6 yr old, huge black long haired cat that just this year started biting and picking on his siblings – not the dogs. Well he slaps at them too. Last night I heard Lilith crying and Azriel was on top of her in the cat bed biting her. For several months he bit our other cat Baby so hard he pulled skin off, we were having to treat her with antibiotic ointment daily. Anyway, just thought if Mom knows cats she might know more than I do. He’s inside only, just seems so darn tempermental this year.
@Canine Crusader It sounds to me like you should take Azriel to the vet and discuss this problem. Personality changes like this sometimes indicate something medical might be going on. Also, think about what happened around the time that Azriel began getting aggressive, if there were any changes in your household, new animals coming in, any changes in your life, etc. Cats can react negatively to change. Lastly, you might want to drop a line to my pals over at Paws & Effect – http://www.paws-and-effect.com. They often answer questions of this sort. But in any case, I do think a vet visit is in order, since Azriel’s aggressive behavior has been bad enough to do damage to his roomies.
Boodie is very handsome. And he is such a pretty color. Don’t see too many that color
