My human spent the weekend at the Cat Writers Conference and came home after midnight Sunday night. That was no fair! It meant we had to wait until morning to find out all the cool stuff she had in her suitcase.
Binga was at least twice as impatient as me!
I knew from previous years that there would be lots of cool cat stuff! The sponsors of the conference are very good to the cat writers. Not to mention the cat writers’ cats.
We think this year’s haul was the best ever!
I just want to say that this Neko Flies Katarantula was the best toy out of all of them!
Oh. And there was even something for the dog.
In fact, there was so much cool stuff, and we have so much already, that my human and I decided that we should give some to cats less fortunate than me. So these items will go to Kitten Rescue.
But there was even more! My human brought home two Muse Medallion awards for me! I won for Blog: Entertainment and my 2010 Wall Calendar won for Color Photograph (series)! This is the second year in a row that my calendar won this award.
Even though I could not be there in person, I thought maybe I should give a speech. But my human said it was not necessary.
Oh yeah, my human won a couple of awards too — she got a Muse Medallion for a breed rescue article she wrote for Cat Fancy,
But enough about my human. In spite of the toys, awards and everything, I am still annoyed that she left for days and days. I did not get brushed once and never got to have a meal without the dog hanging around. So I think I will make this suitcase into a cat bed. That way she won’t be able to use it again.

Our mommy was gone for too long too so we keep sitting on her suitcase every time she goes to empty it and she still hasn’t been able to get things out. That’ll teach her to not leave us again!
