So, what exactly is this big, colorful thing standing here in the living room?
Oh no! It is my human’s suitcase! It is big. And not only is it colorful, it is kind of hideous. My human says this serves two purposes: 1) it is easy to find at baggage claim, and 2) no one else will take it because they won’t want to be seen with it.
As you can imagine, I do not like suitcases. And the peace sign on this one is mocking me because I do not feel very peaceful.
This suitcase is very colorful inside too. And it is not quite empty either.
Since my human has left town to go to the BlogHer conference, I guess I can’t complain too much. She will be talking to lots of other humans about my blog, and copies of both my books are for sale at the bookstore there! So I will rub up against this thing and give it my scent of approval. Also it will smell like me so if my human misses me, she can sniff it.

My mum has a black suitcase. It matches me perfectly.
Our Mom has a red suitcase that she ties pawprint bags on.

What a BRIGHT suitcase! Momma’s is navy and it’s hard to find at baggage claim. Or so she says. . . . .
Now that is an utterly distinctive suitcase! I daresay she has never lost that one in a crowd of other cases!

You are very thoughtful to rub your scent on the suitcase so your human can sniff it when she misses you. I’m sure no one will question why she’s constantly sniffing her luggage. We hope she has a great trip.
