Maybe you have figured this out by now, but my human is really, really lousy at selling stuff. What’s even more pathetic is she tries so hard and has no clue as to why she has such poor results. When it comes to the creating part of business, she is actually pretty talented. She just doesn’t know how to make anyone want what she creates! So when she gets some wacky idea to sell something she didn’t make at all, the results are predictably bad.
One example was this cheap circular cat tunnel. When we were living at the old house, she bought something like a dozen of them and thought she would sell them. Of course she expected me to help.
At first I thought they were all for me. I wasn’t sure if I should thank her politely or show her my disappointment at their lack of quality. Then I realized she meant for me to sell them on my blog!
Even though they were not exactly the fanciest cat tunnels ever — just the opposite! — I still had fun playing with the sample one. So my human put up a sales page with the photos… and I think she sold about two.
Then about a year or so later, we moved to the house where we live now and about a year after that, the shutters in one of the living room windows came down and crushed my cat tunnel. And guess what? We still have those eight or 10 cheap cat tunnels! Maybe my human will donate them to one of the local cat rescues or give them away as door prizes to some of you guys. I think she is done trying to sell them. But I wish she would learn how to sell something. I would really like a new cat tree one of these days.

Selling is an art. Maybe you’re mommy will learn it someday?!? Those tunnels looks cute. Don’t know if they could take us on?!?
Too bad I didn’t know about that about 3 months ago cuz M searched and searched all over looking for a tunnel for me – she finally found one, so I don’t need another one now. Maybe your mom is having trouble selling things now because M says people have no extra money right now and something bout the economy is bad – whatever dat means.
Nah, she’s always been bad – we’ve had those tunnels since 2006, LOL! Although I’m sure the economy isn’t making it any better now!
They look like great tunnels, Sparkle, very colourful, very pretty. We think donating them is a wonderful idea!
We have several tunnels that occupied our attention for a short time, but were ignored after that. They’re all packed away now. Sometimes the mom will bring one or two out, but our interest lasts 5 minutes, tops.
Those do look like pretty neat tunnels. Our Mom has trouble selling anything too. We still love the tunnel that we have but to be honest, just the kittens play in it. Hope you have a super week end.
They are pretty colors though. And you, of course, look great in the pictures with them.

Our Mom stinks at selling stuff too. We have about eleventy billion beds that she bought to sell at cat shows…then she stopped going to them!

We never had a tunnel, but they look so circular cool!
Sparkle, we think there are kittens out there just WAITING to get a tunnel…whether they are circularly new, or ovally old ones.
Those is cool tunnels Sparkle and me loves the sot at the top! Yous looks like yous is the focus of all the circles!

WOW! I really like tunnels. Maybe other humans don’t see the fun of the tunnels and they do not buy them. Your human may not be lacking in sales skills, other humans don’t know the good things.

Your human sounds like my human. You would think at almost 64 now, she would finally figure out she is never going to make a living selling stuff. I think they have it in their blood, but they just used the recipe?

I think most of us humans don’t know how to sell things. I have to admit though, if I had a cat with me, I’d want one of those cat tunnels.
We kitties think the tunnels look fab! Mom buys things mostly from Amazon but not often exciting things for us kitties! Has your mom tried selling them on the Amazon site?
They are very pretty tunnels, and very circular.
My mom can’t sell either, and she used to have a job selling custom framing. She made sales okay, but never the fancy expensive designs that her co-workers could sell all the time. Mom is too concerned about other people’s budgets being blown! She is just not a natural born salesperson.
Our mom can’t sell stuff either. One time, she and a friend made these really nice wreaths and they were gonna sell them at a craft show. They set everything up, and only sold a couple. So then mom just used them as gifts. We think her friends and family got tired of getting wreaths.
We like those tunnels…it might be nice to donate them to a shelter or something.
Ha ha ha! My Human is the furry worst salesperson in all the land. Her sales pitch would go sumfing like this: You don’t want to buy this do you? No? Right I didn’t think so.
That’s why she neffur tries to sell nuffing, MOL!

BTW, I like it cos it’s easier to attack & bite TW when she sticks her hand in cos I only have to take 1 step.
Love your interpretation of “circular”. Now, theese tunnels are nice and colorful for sure, the reason why EVERY cat my Human has had loves our tunnel we have is that it is made out of crinkly material so it makes that sound and it is very sturdy too.
Selling stuff is difficult! Those tunnels look pretty good, Sparkle. We like your idea, and bet a rescue would enjoy them very much.
Mowzers, aren’t humans ridiculous??? Mine spent ALL DAY making one silly little cat scratching post only THIS high *holds out paws* and of course none of us would touch it becausse it smells STINKY like hot glue gun stuff. *shakes head* They better not try to sell any of those, they’d end up LOSING money for sure!!
Mebbe she could just put the tunnels up all over the house for you to explore in more colorful surroundings?
