This week’s Photo Hunt is a big, fat FAIL! My human does not know the meaning of bling — all her jewelry is silver, vintage-look stuff and pretty low key. And her selection of cat necklaces, i.e., human bracelets she bought with me in mind, are pretty non-blingy too. In fact, this lame faux-pearl deal is the best she could come up with.
She made me pose in it anyhow. What kind of fashion statement is this supposed to be anyway?

I need real bling if I want to be taken seriously as a DJ! The other cats would laugh me out of the dance club if I tried scratching with this granny necklace on!

Dear Sparkle, For once dahling I have to disagree with you. Pearls never go out of style, they go with everything (my human wore them with a nice blouse and Jeans) and besides, you look smashing in them. But then you make even the goofiest Christmas decorations look good.

It is beautiful, but we agree, where is the bling??? Our mom loves bling and has it on lots of her clothes! We refuse to wear anything, even if it does have the bling.

As pretty as the bling is, to me, is not really your style. This bling seems a little bulky. A delicate single chain with maybe diamonds on it would make you really “Sparkle.”
