On my birthday a couple of years ago, I got a curious present:
At first I thought it was for me because, of course, I love bugs. They are very tasty! But then I realized that it was birdseed, with bugs added. I was insulted — the birds outside were getting to eat better than me! But then I realized that my human had bought the Bugfest specifically to attract birds for me to watch.
It took awhile but eventually they began showing up.
Unfortunately, I’m not allowed outside to go bird hunting. This is the only bird I am allowed to catch:

It seems a little bit unfair to lure them to you and not let you out to get ‘em! I have to watch from Inside, too. Life is hard.
Poor Daisy. Poor Sparkle. At least your people are providing you with entertainment. I’m sure you both get plenty of cat food to eat. . .
