Look at this mess! And you want to know something even worse: not that long ago, all of it was on my human’s desk! There was nowhere for me to walk so I could supervise her. She had to pull out the desk inserts so I had somewhere to sit and slap her when she started goofing off. But she finally decided to get organized, mainly because her appointment with her CPA is at the end of this week and she needs to hunt down any missing paperwork.
At first when she took all that stuff from her desk top and dumped it in the living room, we cats were excited! We raced around the room and used the little credit card receipts as toys. But finally it dawned on me that this wasn’t just fun and games. I had a lot of supervising to do!
Even worse, Binga thinks she has to help too! Binga’s version of “helping” means getting in the way. Then she gets annoyed when anyone tries to make her move. It is going to be a long week!

MomKatt took her stuff into her HER CPA this past Friday. She keeps it organized throughout the year – that way, she doesn’t have year-end messes like that! MOL
She says it’s a pain but she’d rather do a little monthly than a lot at the end of the year!

Your mom needs to learn about files. My mom uses those and at tax time it’s already organized and nothing lost. Then the desk would never be messy and there’d always be room for you!
Oh, she has a big monthly accordion folder for tax stuff – but there are always bits and pieces that get scattered. She was actually about 95% organized for tax stuff before starting on this pile… most of which has nothing to do with taxes, just a little bit.
Uh oh. You might wanna cover your ears… you could learn some very interesting words in the very near future.
Gasp – Why can’t our oomans keep a neater desk. How are we supposed to get creative and do a good job with “stuff” all over the place.
