One of the great things about my house is the proliferation of boxes. There are always a few around for me. A couple of days ago, this one showed up, with a long, crinkly bunch of paper as a bonus.

Of course, I have to test out every box for size and play-ability. Here I am telling Boodie that this box is way too small for her and not very fun.

Okay, so I lied a little.

But my testing didn’t matter after all. Soon enough, my human emptied the box of cats and started putting books in it. She will be selling them — with my pawtograph! — at this year’s Alt Book Bazaar in Burbank. Last year, Dear Sparkle was one of their biggest sellers. We’re hoping to get a repeat this year.

She’s also selling some of my 2010 calendars… and I noticed that she snuck in a few copies of that book she helped write that I had nothing to do with. Hmph.

So she packed it all up and that was another box gone. But she did leave me the crinkly paper.

Boxes are super fun!
I hope you sell a squillion copies!
Aww, we know that EVERY book has to do with you in someway!
Da paper is da bestest part.
