Yes, I am mad today! Mad at my human. She came home the other evening and she had Strange Cat Smell all over her! Even worse, she took photos with her Blackberry — not just one or two, but a bunch! You’d think she was shooting a celebrity or something, and this cat doesn’t even have a blog or a twitter account.

Her name is Aila. And she lives with two other Meezers, but you would never know it, because all the photos my human took were of her. She is one big ham.

And she is also one of those weird sink cats. Doesn’t she understand that that is where water comes from?

I think she finally got fed up with my human taking all those photos. Especially this one, because when Aila’s human saw it, she threatened to give her a bath! Which just goes to show: you don’t win over a kitty with a stupid camera.

Ooohhhh! Call the Major Crimes Unit – this is a biggie!!
Pardon the cliche, Sparkle, but you sure are cute when you’re mad.
In that first photo, you are doing what my friend Amber calls “malamute ears”. It means you’re really not happy.
Sparkle, that picture of you is fantastic. You have every right being mad at that Mom. What is she doing playing with a strange cat, although Aila is kind of cute with that pink ribbon. Your Mom needs a little spanking.
Have a great day.
Be very aloof when your mom tries to cuddle you after that treachery of photographing another kittie – that’ll teach her!
Sparkle, we don’t blame you one bit! She shouldn’t be taking pictures of other cats…even if they are kinda cute!
Although Aila is a very pretty kitty, she’s really no threat at all to you, Sparkle. So, don’t punish your mama too much for taking her pictures. PURRhaps she thought Aila would be a nice FURiend for you!
Surely there must be a way to get back at the human for this. It is unacceptable behavior on her part. Is there a way you can destroy the pictures? I don’t know if it helps you feel better but Aila doesn’t look too happy in that last one.
Oh no, does that mean they will be moving in soon?
And that is one heck of an angry look on your face – but come on now – be nice, that’s a pretty kitty. (I have a soft spot in my heart for Siameses – I’m a sucker for blue eyes!)
Sparkle, after reading your book, we will Not Allow our Mommy to commit such a heinious crime! The threat of punishment is so severe she would run 500 yards away fron any Non-Lounge Cat.
Show HER the bum of disrespect.
You do look a little irritated!
If looks could kill, as they say, in that shot of you, Sparkle! We like Huffle’s comment about the “malamute ears”. In the last pic, it looks like Aila’s doing them too!

Hi Sparkle,
Gosh I have to say you do look a little upset. Just ignore your mom until she apologizes with gifts and snacks.
You are definitely one cranky kitty in that picture, Sparkle! The nerve of you human for taking all those pictures of such a cute, adorable, fabulous, sweet-looking, pretty kitty.
Sparkle, the expression on your face says it all!
Why do Moms feel the need to cheat? We’ll never understand that. Aila is kind of cute though.
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
You have to admit that is one pretty cat, but not as pretty as you, Sparkle.
Your facial expression is the best, Sparkle.
Aila is pretty, but my guess is that your human was simply keeping her photography skills polished so as to be able to take good ones of you.
We would be mad too Sparkle.
Well, Sparkle, ever since her friend got those two little hellions Aggie & Wally, my Human comes home all the time with foreign-cat-smell. I don’t like it, but I need her to type so I can’t really punish her as I’d like. What’s a boy to do?
Wow, what a ham! LOL. She is beautiful, but not as beautiful as you, Sparkle. So no worries.
Is it a Siamese thing, that obsession with running water? My previous half-Siamese LOVED it. She would climb up on the rim of the old cast iron tub, and walk round and round the tub while I filled it with water. Livvy, my “newer” half-Siamese, is indifferent to water, though.
In that last photo, Aila looks a little like a koala bear!
