The other day these two guys invaded our house with this huge, wrapped up object. They set it down in the living room and unpacked it. “This is not a scratching post,” my human said.
Since it wasn’t a new scratching post, I wasn’t sure what it was. I decided this object needed a thorough investigation.
This project was a huge undertaking, so Binga helped.
Before we had time to finish our examination, my human tossed a couple of blankets on the thing, “just to make sure you don’t put your claws on it.” Honestly, that hadn’t even crossed our minds. Yet. Binga decided that the blankets offered a great opportunity to take a break.
Then Boodie came over to look at the thing. She couldn’t believe her eyes.
In fact, she rolled over in throes of ecstasy, she was so happy. Finally I figured out what this new thing was. It’s a brand new cat bed! Adding the blankets should have been the tip off.
I’m pleased with our new bed. Now, I just have to figure out a way to keep the humans off it.
. We are praying that she finds a forever home soon.
