To be honest, I don’t think anyone in the house was in a Christmas-y mood this year. Not even us cats. When my human brought out the presents, we checked them out, but not with all that much enthusiasm.
At least my Secret Paws package arrived on Christmas Eve from The Meezers!
Boodie was excited because there was meezer smell all over the humungous pile of cat toys they sent us!
She immediately took charge of the Nip Nanna they included!
I was excited because they included Looney Loops, which are some of my favorite toys! And I don’t know where my old ones disappeared to.
They also enclosed a card.
They are sending me some treats too! That is very nice of them, because I know they are very preoccupied right now — their human just had a biopsy a few days ago.
Our Secret Paws gifts were pretty much the high point of the day for me. Binga liked the Kong Toy that was meant to be a stocking stuffer… except we didn’t get stockings this year. In fact, she didn’t even wait for my human to remove it from the packaging.
I was thrilled that we got a Turbo Track!
Except that Boodie wouldn’t stop playing with it! I was sort of annoyed by that.
And then my human pulled out her “special gift” — the one she’s been talking about for weeks.
She even bragged that she made sure she had batteries in advance.
Well, the thing did work… for about two seconds. Instead of talking about it, why don’t I just show you? In fact, this video has contains the lowlights (as opposed to the highlights) of our Christmas day. I hope yours was better!

Meh. We didn’t have a lot of Christmas spirit this year either.
That flying saucer thing looked like fun. We got a butterfly ball from our Uncle but no batteries so maybe tomorrow we can try it. We’re sorry that your Christmas was a Dud, ours kinda was too. We kept asking for tuna casselrole but the biped made some sort of roast beast.

It sucked at our house cuz my gramma made evrybuddy mizzerbul like she duz evry yeer, and then the Food Lady wispers to Mr TF, “Why is she such a bich?” and well, yoo git the pikcher.
Sammy and Miles were praktikly my vary ferst frends on the innernets win I wuz just a kittin. Yoo can cownt on them to pik owt good krissmiss prezints!
Oh Sparkle, that is too bad your Christmas was a dud. Glad you got your Secret Santa stuff. At least you got some treats. Lots of people don’t get into Christmas. I think it is a very hard time of year. Take care and have a good Sunday.

Sparkle, we liked the movie, the look you and Binga give each other towards the end says it all.
Our Christmas was blah too. Both of our humans are sick with sore throats and colds. The whole house smells like Vicks Vaporub. It poured rain all day. Looking forward to the New Year.

Sparkle you shoulda been here! We had a blast…uh well, at least Grete woofie was totally in the Christmas spirit because she LOVED her toys. She got a squeaky snake and she won’t stop squeaking it…and then she laughs…and then she tosses it…and then squeaka squeaka. Party central.

No kitty aspirin, but I have some Pit’r Pat treats. They make everything seem better.

Oh Miss Sparkle, we’re sorry your Christmas was a dud. Our mom is never in the Christmas spirit, really. She travels to see her mom and brother each year when weather permits, but around here, you would never know it was Christmas – no decorations, no presents, nothing! She says the no presents is our fault, because Zoe steals any gifts that would be presents before they can be put away or wrapped. And she also says something about us getting presents year round, blah blah. Whatev. At least the Meezers did ya’ll up right~!!

Sparkle, it was the same here. If we hadn’t gotten our package from Spitty, we would have hit a new nadir in excitement. The most fun we had was watching Maui whizz on the counter.

So that turbo track is awesome–ours is just a circle and we love it. Here’s a tip that we love. The original plastic ball got lost…so it’s been replaced with a golf ball and woohoo does that puppy turbo!! Just a thought! Happy new year!! We just got our new Sparkle calendar–the best Christmas present because it just goes to show–cats rule!
