The downside of getting ready for the year’s biggest CFA cat show on the West Coast? I had to get a bath. (I was Very Good, though, according to my human.) The upside? Look at all the outfits I get to bring! I am going to be a Pet Me Cat and socialize with the attendees and I want to dress up for the occasion.
You might remember this dress… it’s the one I got in Phoenix last year. It’s gotten a little space on the blog.
You haven’t seen as much of this one! It’s one of the hand-me-downs I got from the human of Coco the Couture Cat, and I’ve been waiting for the right time to wear it. Isn’t it lovely? And guess what else I’m bringing along?
That’s right, my desk bell! I’ve gotten really good at ringing it, although my human says I need more control. I only get the treat when she gives me the right signal. But I try doing it more, hoping I’ll get extra treats.
I’m not going to wear all fancy clothes, though! Sometimes I will just be posing in my fur, since I am also going to be part of the Somali breed booth, and showing off for my breed. And sometimes I will just go casual, like with this pink t-shirt I got when I was in Vancouver.
Meanwhile, my human will be wearing this button. It’s part of the Ambassador program, so that if attendees have questions about the show or Somali cats, they know they can ask her.
So if you are in the area, stop by the San Diego Cat Show and say hi! I will have a Pet Me sign over my benching area. Now, I only have one problem… how to fit everything into my suitcase.
